NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That a Primary Election will be held at the Lent Town Hall located at 33155 Hemingway Ave., Stacy, MN 55079 on Tuesday, the 11th day of August 2020. The polls will be open from the hour of seven (7) o’clock A.M. to the hour of eight (8) o’clock P.M. for the purpose of nominating candidates for Federal and State, which are to be voted for the General Election to be held on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November 2020.

Supervisor Seat B – Four (4) year term
Supervisor Seat E – Four (4) year term
Affidavits of Candidacy for the above offices may be filed at the Town Hall, 33155 Hemingway Ave, Stacy, MN 55079 beginning Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 9:00 am through Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 5:00 pm. The Township office is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The filing paperwork will be on lenttownship.com when the filing period opens. Swing-away Mailbox Post

Please make arrangements with the Clerk if you would like to purchase a swing away mailbox post. Please see the  Temporary Hours Notice regarding the limited staffed hours. Appointments MUST be made for all swing away purchases. The post is put in the hallway and everything is sanitized prior to your arrival. Checks and exact cash are accepted. $90 per post.

You MUST have a swing-away mailbox post to report any damage from the snow plow and it must be installed at the correct height/distance from road.
