NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom and at the Town Hall at 33155 Hemingway Ave., Stacy, MN 55079, the Lent Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to solicit public response to a proposed text amendment to Chapter Two: Section 5.12 Dimensional Standards in the RRII and RRI. The Planning Commission will make a recommendation regarding the proposed text amendment to the Town Board for their meeting to be held on July 20, 2021, 7:00 p.m. via Zoom or at the Town Hall.

The Planning Commission will make a recommendation regarding the proposed IUP Residential Kennel Permit request to the Town Board for their meeting to be held on July 20, 2021, 7:00 p.m. via Zoom and at the Lent Town Hall.

The purpose of the Open House is to gain public input regarding the 2040 Comprehensive Plan. A quorum of the Town Board and/or the Planning Commission is likely to be present.

LENT TOWNSHIP, CHISAGO COUNTY, MINNESOTA notice of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 SECTION 5.12 DIMENSIONAL STANDARDS OF THE LENT TOWNSHIP LAND USE REGULATIONS.

ORDINANCE NO. 2021-04

Section 1. AMENDMENT.  Chapter 2, Section 5.12 of Lent Township Official Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended with the following underlined words to be added and the following stricken words to be removed from Section 5.12 with regards to dimensional standard requirements for the Rural Residential – Agriculture Zoning District within Lent Township.

RRA Maximum Density 8 16 lots per 40 acres
RRA Minimum Lot Area 5 acres

2.5 acres

RRA Minimum Lot Width 300 feet

165 feet

Passed by the Lent Town Board on the 18th day of May 2021.
